Changes for the New Year

2009 was a very good year for the consultancy I co-founded, threebrick. To best prepare for 2010, we made some tough but exciting decisions to better serve interactive in the southeastern U.S.

Content Science LogoI left threebrick to start a separate consultancy focused on content strategy called Content Science. While I enjoyed offering content strategy along with other services, I discovered that content strategy’s complexity merits a consultancy all its own.

Matt moved to Austin to better care for an elderly family member and, with the move, decided not to continue his partner responsibilities. He has taken a lead design role with the social commerce company, Bazaar Voice.

Darnell is narrowing the focus of threebrick to technology products and services, specializing in mobile and speech technology. A consultancy sharply focused on emerging technology will serve the Southeast well.

If you’ve owned your own business, you know that big changes after a good first year are normal. I thank Matt and Darnell for striving to make the best decisions possible for 2010.

Here’s to a GREAT new year!

Congrats, Colleen! Exciting and scary times, I’m sure. Best of luck with the new venture. Like you, we’re excited about the opportunities content strategy can bring to our clients. We should get together sometime and chat!

    Cheers!
