Andrea Lunsford analyzed thousands of student writing samples as part of the Stanford Study of Writing. Turns out all that Twittering, Facebooking, and blogging takes writing to new levels—and even dimensions.
The different types of writing in different channels forces students to consider context and audience. That’s just what the Greek rhetoricians would have wanted.
